Street

For me, street photography is challenging but at the same time enormously rewarding and satisfying. Photographing people requires patience and sometimes even bravery. It’s a lot of work and approaching people can be a challenge. It also requires patience, persistence and even a bit of luck. Street photography is such a quick and spontaneous form of photography. And you have to blend in. I just love it.
You have to respond rather quickly and react intuitively ‘cause the scene is constantly chanching. You must be able to compose a nice and compelling shot. Have your camera settings right (ISO, aperture, shutter speed etc). It’s not, like some might think, aggressive and/or confrontational. For me it’s relaxing. I like being creative and it gives me flow. Empties my mind.
